Best Time to Travel to Azores

Hi! My fiance and I are getting married in mid March and we both really want to go to the Azores for our honeymoon. Do you suggest going in mid March or do you think we should push the honeymoon back to April, May or even possibly June? We love to hike, go whale watching, and explore new countries. We visited Costa Rica this past April and fell in love with the volcanic area and beauty. As soon as we saw pics of the Azores, we knew we had to visit. Any advice or information you would have for our honeymoon would be appreciated!

Hi Jennifer,

If you want the best weather (ie to be able to visit the beach), I suggest going between June and the the end of August.

The weather in the spring is nice, but wetter. Hiking, whale, watching and exploring are all good to do at this time of the year.
