Where is the best place to surf in the Azores?

Hi Michael,
Sao Miguel and Santa Maria seem to attract the most surfers. Santa Barbara beach, on Sao Miguel, near Ribeira Grande recently hosted the Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP) WQS. It seems to be the most popular beach among surfers as it is expansive and on the North Coast where the waves are largest.
