Stationed in the Azores in the early 1990's

Wow! What a fantastic place to live. The beaches are black sand and the most beautiful we've ever seen. The people are extremely friendly. The plant life is just amazing. Would go back in a heartbeat. Love the easy going lifestyle and shopping was fun too. I learned to haggle there.
