A breath of fresh air and popseco

My family is from Sao Miguel, so it was only natural that once i had a family of my own, that i would show them where there grandparents where from.My husband not being portguese but of British decent fell in love with the island in 2002 to the point that we recently purchased a home there and plan on visiting more often, i feel very blessed to be connected to this island in so many ways, its like the minute you step on the stair platform of the airplane and breath in the smell of the island flowers and ocean (and sometimes the smell of popseco)you know your ancestors are welcoming you with open arms and saying "its about time, welcome home "( i know it sounds corney). I am so glad i found your site, because i see now that i have not fully experienced and seen the island enough, I am going to make a point to travel where you have gone when i am there, so please keep up the good work.

Paulinha (what my portguese family calls ME)
